Smells Like Teen Spirit

My name is Tirion and I am a Welsh teenager with a passion for writing. After finding great interest in other people's lives and beliefs through blogs, along with my ambition to become a journalist, I decided to start my own blog at 15. 

 

 

Running the blog has brought me many opportunities and a further passion to follow my ambition of becoming a journalist, with this platform creating a further confidence in my ability to write creatively. Since creating my blog, I've become the editor of my school newspaper, had the confidence to send my work to platforms to be published, and officially become a published journalist for Buzz Magazine's March Issue, and for S4C's Hacio. As of September 2018,

 

I am a student at Cardiff University's School of Journalism, JOMEC. I received the news in February of 2019 that I made it to the shortlist of the BBC Young Reporters' Award, also! As of 2019, I am also an editor for Cardiff Student Media's newspaper, Gair Rhydd.

As of April 2020, I am Editor in Chief of Cardiff University's Student newspaper, Gair Rhydd. 

 

 

Occasionally, at my age, it's hard to find platforms to showcase your emotions or thoughts, so I decided to make my own! Hopefully, this blog can give you enough confidence to start your own blog if you're interested in becoming a writer of some sort. 

 

I hope this blog can showcase my opinions and show you exactly what it's like to be a teenager in this modern age.  Of course you are more than welcome to your own opinions, however, these are mine, and I hope you enjoy reading them.
